You will need a provisional licence.
You will be able to take the course on:
  • At 16 ( moped )
  • At 17+ ( motorcycle )
You will receive on completion a C.B.T dl196 certificate which will enable you to ride the respective bike for a period of two years under normal L plate restrictions. The training course normally last for one day. However should you require any additional training to ensure you are proficient this will be supplied at no additional cost. The training course follows the official DSA approved agenda. you will be taught about safety equipment, clothing and some basic machine maintenance and will then proceed to the off road part of the course where your instructor will guide you through the basic riding techniques advancing at your pace until you are proficient to go on a road ride for a minimum of two hours tuition during which time your instructor will guide you via radio contact. Please remember to bring with you both parts of your provisional licence glasses if you wear them suitable clothing (i.e. warm clothing jacket boots or sturdy footwear.)

Restricted access course and DSA test.
You will need:
  • A provisional licence
  • A CBT dl 196 certificate
  • A theory test pass certificate
Minimum age requirement is 17 years.
We are able to offer 2, 3, 4 or 5 day courses depending on your experience. Each course will culminate with the official DSA test on the final day. You will on passing the test be able to remove your L plates carry a passenger and ride any motorcycle with a power output not above 33 bhp or 25kw.

Direct access course (unrestricted) you will need:
  • A provisional driving licence
  • A C.B.T dl196 certificate
  • A theory pass certificate
 
Minimum age requirement is 21.
We offer 3, 4 or 5 day courses depending on your experience. Each course will culminate with the official DSA test on the final day on passing your test you will be able to remove your L plate's carry passengers ride on all roads including motorways on any size motorcycle. For the above course we do recommend that you bring with you if you have it your own safety equipment and clothing, although loan equipment is available have you not quite got round to selecting your own.
